Locus-t Mag is an independent platform that features art and writings on contemporary art from today's practicing artists and thinkers. The magazine is intended for those willing to search for and engage with stimulating and challenging ideas in the present time. Its orientation is artistic, documentary and historical.

Locus-t Mag emerged as the world rapidly started to go on lockdown in early 2020. It is named after the locust swarms which swept east Africa simultaneously. The challenge of keeping the conversation going throughout the uncertainties of these times prompted the creation of this space, which draws on connections amongst agents of the art world communities and the larger context in which they operate and thrive.
